Job summary

Nuna is seeking a Senior Manager of Payroll to lead a hands-on, people-focused payroll team for a complex US multi-state workforce. The role centers on designing, building, and refining a best-in-class payroll infrastructure while ensuring timely and accurate processing and strict compliance across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years leading payroll for large, multi-state, multi-entity organizations.
• 7+ years in supervisory roles with direct reports.
• Experience building and refining payroll infrastructure and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end multi-state payroll for multiple entities and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain compliance with wage/hour laws, payroll taxes, and garnishments.
• Lead payroll system configurations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Generate detailed payroll reports for Finance, HR, and Accounting.
• Coach and develop payroll team members and foster cross-functional partnerships.
