trak group in Cincinnati is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead payroll processing across 19 branch locations. You will ensure accurate, timely, and confidential payroll administration while complying with federal, state, and local regulations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of high-volume, multi-location payroll experience and are adept with commissions, executive payroll, garnishments, and benefits deductions. This role offers growth and a strategic partner within the finance team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of payroll processing experience.
• Experience handling confidential and executive payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, taxation, garnishments, and child support requirements.
• Experience supporting benefits implementation and payroll-related benefits administration.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Lookups, Formulas, Data analysis).
• Excellent communication and internal customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate and timely payroll processing for employees across 19 branch locations.
• Manage complex payroll transactions including commissions, confidential and executive payroll, adjustments and corrections.
• Administer garnishments, child support orders, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage, hour, payroll, and tax regulations.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and tax-related issues.
• Partner with HR, Benefits, Finance, and branch leadership to ensure payroll accuracy.
• Support benefit implementations and integration with payroll.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations, and audits.
• Utilize advanced Excel to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with payroll system enhancements, testing, implementations, and process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding compensation and executive payroll.
