Searchmasters Inc. in Mentor, Ohio is seeking a Senior Payroll Lead to oversee all audit and review processes for the payroll function across a multi-state workforce of 2,000+ salaried employees.

You will administer 401K programs and employee benefit audits, and act as the cross-functional bridge between payroll staff and eight manufacturing sites while ensuring compliance and efficiency in payroll, benefits, and tax procedures.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree is required.
• Experience with ADP payroll systems is required.
• Payroll leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all audit and review processes for payroll operations.
• Administer and manage 401K programs and employee benefit audits for a multi-state workforce of 2,000+ salaried employees.
• Serve as the cross-functional leader bridging payroll staff and eight manufacturing sites.
• Review and analyze payroll, benefits, and tax procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Coordinate year-end processing of payroll, W-2 forms, and other critical tax documentation.
