Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience processing payroll in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems; UKG experience highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize deadlines, and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead, train, and mentor payroll team members and promote a collaborative culture.
• Manage payroll workflows and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Review payroll transactions, audits, and reconciliations for accuracy and compliance.
• Partner with HR, Accounting, and Operations to resolve payroll issues and improve processes.
• Support payroll system maintenance, testing, and enhancement initiatives.
• Generate and analyze payroll reports for internal stakeholders.
• Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and company policies.
• Assist with payroll transitions and special projects as needed.
