Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a payroll specialist to ensure accurate client payroll processing, support ADP WFN, and maintain strong client relationships. You will participate in implementations, training clients on payroll processes, and stay current with payroll regulations.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs relevant payroll experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP WFN software and implementation.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and/or process payrolls in a timely manner to meet client deadlines including updates to records, bonuses, severance, tax calculations and reconciliations.
• Prepare reports of employee earnings, taxes, deductions, and employer contributions for social security and unemployment.
• Establish strong client relationships by consulting on payroll related matters.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee data and convey information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Provide technical software support to clients.
• Identify and capture out of scope work and new opportunities to expand services.
• Assist implementation team and participate in client onboarding and training on payroll processes.
• Keep current on local, state, and federal payroll practices and laws.
