Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a payroll professional to support client payroll deliverables and ensure accurate processing in ADP WFN. You will maintain employee records, assist with tax calculations, and provide client-focused service.

Responsibilities include implementing payroll projects, training clients, and contributing to team knowledge with current payroll laws and software expertise. A degree or CPP is preferred, with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs relevant payroll experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or experience in lieu of degree CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP WFN software and implementation experience.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately and professionally communicates with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Client Service & Deliverables: Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies; process payrolls timely; update employee records; calculate/paying bonuses or severance; review tax calculations; reconcile payroll deposits and withholdings; prepare reports of earnings and taxes.
• Client Service: Build strong client relationships and keep data confidential; communicate clearly; provide technical software support; identify out-of-scope work and opportunities to expand services.
• Implementation & Technology: Support implementation team; interview clients to understand payroll needs; manage implementation projects; train clients on payroll processes as needed.
• Individual and Team Development: Mentor new hires; give timely feedback; share knowledge; maintain product knowledge on ADP platforms; stay current with local/state/federal payroll laws.
