Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Payroll & HRIS Operations Specialist in St. Petersburg, FL to own payroll operations, HRIS data integrity, and related controls within a growing organization.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership to drive accuracy, compliance, and process improvements across multiple entities, focusing on payroll tax compliance and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on payroll experience.
• GL experience including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Advanced HRIS and payroll systems expertise.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing across multiple business units and legal entities.
• Payroll accounting activities including reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end support.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity through audits, data transactions, reporting, testing, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, filings, year-end processing, and audit requirements.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, and business leaders to resolve issues and improve payroll and HRIS processes.
