Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on payroll experience in complex, multi-state environments.
• Strong GL experience with payroll accounting, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Advanced HRIS and payroll systems expertise, including data reporting, testing and audits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• CPP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end multi-state payroll processing across multiple business units and entities.
• Perform payroll accounting activities, including payroll-to-GL reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and month-end support.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity through audits, data transactions, reporting, testing, and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations, filings, year-end processing, and audit requirements.
• Partner with HR, Finance, Benefits, and leadership to resolve issues and improve payroll and HRIS processes.

• CPP (Certified Payroll Processor) is a PLUS +
• 10+ years of hands-on payroll experience managing complex, multi-state payroll environments
• Strong General Ledger (GL) experience, including payroll accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial controls
• Advanced HRIS and payroll systems expertise, including reporting, audits, testing, and data management
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field (or equivalent experience)
