Kraken Kinetics is seeking a Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to own weekly payroll end-to-end, administer comprehensive benefits, manage leaves of absence, and serve as the ADP Workforce Now expert. This on-site role collaborates with the Head of People and Finance to scale scalable payroll and benefits processes as the company grows.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll experience, 3+ years with ADP WFN, and strong knowledge of state payroll taxes and compliance.

Competenze

• 5+ years hands-on payroll processing
• 3+ years with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax and benefits requirements
• Experience managing leaves of absence and COBRA
• High accuracy and discretion with confidential information
• Ability to deliver tasks with limited supervision
• Clear communicator across all levels of the company

Mansioni

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for weekly cycles, including bonuses and final pay.
• Audit payroll data before submission—hours, earnings, deductions, taxes.
• Collaborate with People Team on hires, job changes and terminations.
• Manage payroll tax filings and notices for multiple states.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close with Finance.
• Lead open enrollment and administer benefits with the broker team.
• Maintain ADP WFN data integrity and reports for audits.
• Serve as primary contact for pay, benefits and leave inquiries.
