Okta in San Francisco seeks an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to own end-to-end multi-state US payroll for 5,000+ employees. You will ensure accurate, timely semi-monthly payroll, manage equity-related transactions, benefits deductions, and tax compliance while partnering with People Operations and Finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive, end-to-end multi-state US payroll experience.
• Expertise in Workday Payroll/HCM.
• Strong knowledge of US tax withholdings and payroll accounting.
• Experience with SOX controls and audits.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute bi-weekly multi-state US payroll cycles for 5,000+ employees.
• Process equity transactions (RSUs, ESPP) and off-cycle runs.
• Manage benefits deductions, 401(k) audits, FSA/HSA, garnishments.
• Support year-end W-2 reconciliation and audits; ensure tax compliance.
