Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to own global payroll across US states and Canada, ensuring accurate, on-time payments. You will partner with HR, Finance, and Legal as we scale and move toward IPO readiness.

Responsibilities include full-cycle payroll processing with ADP Workforce Now and Workday, tax compliance, and building scalable runbooks. This remote-friendly role offers in-office anchor days in SF/NY and a focus on automation.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of payroll experience, including multi-state US payroll at scale (1,000+ employees).
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN).
• Workday HRIS experience, including data flows between Workday and payroll processor.
• Canadian payroll experience with provincial compliance and year-end requirements.
• Proven ability to own and ship payroll automations and improvements.
• Strong understanding of US payroll tax concepts and equity-related taxation.

Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle, multi-state US payroll end-to-end for bi-weekly and semi-monthly cycles using ADP WFN and Workday.
• Collaborate with third-party providers to process Canada and LATAM payrolls.
• Reconcile payroll data between Workday and ADP, ensuring accuracy of earnings and deductions.
• Manage 34-state tax compliance, new-hire reporting, and year-end W-2/T4 processing.
• Administer Canadian payroll per federal and provincial requirements (ROEs, T4s, remittances).
• Partner with HR, Total Rewards, and Finance for payroll changes (hiring, terminations, LOAs, equity events).
• Lead process improvements to increase accuracy and scalability; support audits and SOX-adjacent activities.
• Serve as tier-2 payroll escalation for employee inquiries and regulatory changes.
