Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage client payroll processing, accuracy and reporting. You will maintain confidential employee data, resolve discrepancies and support ADP RUN implementations.

The role requires 3+ years of payroll experience, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong Excel/Office skills. Excellent client service and communications are essential, with a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 3 yrs relevant payroll experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or experience in lieu of degree.
• CPP preferred.
• Experience with ADP RUN software and implementation experience.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure client payroll information is accurate within their payroll system and resolve discrepancies.
• Review and process payrolls to meet client deadlines; update employee records and payroll taxes.
• Prepare reports of earnings, taxes, deductions and employer contributions.
• Establish trusted client relationships and maintain data confidentiality.
• Provide technical software support to clients and train them on payroll processes.
