Baker Tilly is seeking a Payroll Support professional to provide direct payroll consulting to clients, maintain expertise in payroll laws, and independently manage client relationships under supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and strong communication across client teams.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree preferred or 2 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience with ADP software platforms desirable.
• Working knowledge of Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Highly detail oriented and focused on accuracy.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong adaptability and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to effectively work in a deadline driven environment serving multiple clients.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; appropriately and professionally communicates with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and consulting to payroll clients.
• Maintain knowledge of payroll practices and laws to service clients effectively.
• Independently manage client relationships under supervision, escalating issues as needed.
• Ensure client payroll information is accurate and resolve discrepancies.
• Process payrolls timely, update records, calculate bonuses/severance, review tax calculations, reconcile payroll deposits and withholdings.
