Job summary

Ventura Coastal, LLC in California seeks an Accounting Operations Manager to lead payroll and support accounting across our manufacturing operations. You will supervise bi-weekly payroll for union and non-union staff across multiple locations.

The role requires 5+ years of payroll leadership, Paycom experience, and strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws. We offer a competitive salary, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting/finance.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll management experience.
• 3+ years payroll for union and non-union workforces.
• Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for ~400 employees across locations.
• Ensure accuracy of wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and union agreements.
• Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with HR, Benefits, and Finance on data and deductions.
• Support payroll audits and prepare reports.
• Assist with month-end close and GL analyses.
