Job summary

Roblox is seeking a Senior Payments Compliance Manager to design and enforce global KYC, AML, and sanctions programs, ensuring scalable controls as our payments ecosystem grows. This role drives a culture of compliance, manages regulatory obligations, and enables a safe platform for users.

The role partners with Legal, Product, Engineering, and Finance to develop policies and operations. It is a full-time, hybrid position reporting to the Head of Compliance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial crime compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in law, finance, or related field.
• Experience building or operationalizing KYC/CDD programs.
• Strong knowledge of BSA/AML regulatory requirements and OFAC frameworks.
• Certification such as CAMS or CGSS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end KYC program including CDD/EDD and monitoring.
• Develop AML policies, procedures, and controls.
• Build and operate sanctions program aligned with OFAC and global standards.
• Conduct risk assessments across products and geographies.
• Serve as SME and escalation point for complex KYC/AML issues.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to embed compliance into payments features.
• Lead and develop Payments Compliance program with Head of Compliance.
• Track evolving regulatory requirements and update the program.
