Rain is hiring a Senior Product Manager to own the compliance surface end to end, including financial crime, licensing, and network obligations. You will work with Legal, Risk, Engineering, and Partnerships, and collaborate with bank partners and enterprise customers’ compliance teams.

You will own the KYC/KYB onboarding, sanctions screening, and monitoring workflows across markets, driving efficiency and accuracy while translating complex regulations into actionable product requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in product management, including ownership of compliance/risk/payments products in regulated environments.
• Fluency in AML/CFT concepts: KYC/KYB standards, sanctions screening, monitoring typologies, SAR workflows.
• Experience with card issuing, payments infrastructure, or banking-as-a-service expectations from issuing banks, BIN sponsors, and networks.
• Proven track record shipping systems where correctness matters more than speed, with data-model/API design collaboration.
• Comfort with ambiguity in evolving regulatory landscapes for stablecoins and related products.
• Clear, precise technical writing that informs product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own KYC/KYB onboarding experience for consumers and businesses across markets, optimizing conversion, accuracy, and cost per verified user.
• Build and tune sanctions screening, PEP/adverse media checks, and transaction monitoring, including blockchain analytics.
• Drive down false positives and analyst review time while maintaining detection quality.
• Ship case management, escalation, and SAR/STR workflows used by compliance teams.
• Translate regulatory obligations into engineer-ready requirements (licensing, MiCA, VASP, Travel Rule).
• Lead market launches with Legal/Compliance as repeatable processes; manage jurisdictional config and reporting.
