Job summary

Galactic Minds INC in Charlotte is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of payments technology initiatives, from planning through production rollout. You will drive governance, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across business, product, architecture, development, QA, infrastructure and operations.

The role requires hands-on experience in payments programs, strong Agile/Scrum delivery, and the ability to manage distributed onsite/offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Strong program management experience in Banking or Financial Services.
• Hands-on experience managing Payments programs.
• Knowledge of payment-processing lifecycle and payment systems.
• Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• Ability to manage distributed onsite/offshore technology teams.
• Good understanding of enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, databases, and production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Payments technology initiatives, from planning and requirements through implementation and production rollout.
• Coordinate across Business, Product, Architecture, Development, QA, Infrastructure, Operations, and vendor teams.
• Drive governance meetings, status reporting, RAID management, dependency tracking, and executive/client communications.
• Partner with Business Analysts and Product teams to ensure business requirements and payment-processing needs are translated into executable delivery plans.
• Coordinate application, integration, testing, certification, deployment, and production-readiness activities.
• Identify delivery risks and blockers proactively and drive them to closure.
• Manage Agile ceremonies, release planning, deliverables, and cross-team dependencies.
• Provide concise project health, milestone, risk, and escalation reporting to senior stakeholders.
