Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Payments to own end-to-end delivery of complex payments initiatives. You will coordinate product, technology, operations, risk, and external partners to ensure on-time, within-scope programs with measurable business impact.

The role requires deep payments knowledge and the ability to discuss payment rails and regulatory requirements with leadership while managing schedules, budgets, and dependencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of project or program management experience.
• 5+ years in payments/fintech/financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic payments programs and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and dashboards for executives.
• Drive agile/hybrid delivery and manage budgets, resources, and vendor contracts.
• Identify risks and elevate blockers with recommended resolutions.
• Shape project scope with payments domain knowledge and ensure regulatory alignment.
• Guide teams through payments-specific complexity and security considerations.
• Facilitate cross-functional steering committees and executive readouts.
• Produce high-quality charters, business cases, and post-implementation reviews.
• Mentor junior PMs and translate objectives into roadmaps and investments.
