Job summary

Flywire is seeking a Senior Payment Operations Specialist, Infrastructure & Network Enablement in Boston to lead strategic payment initiatives and drive operational excellence across Flywire's global payment network. The role collaborates with Product, Engineering, Treasury, Network, Compliance, and Operations to ensure timely delivery, incident management, and governance of payment capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree; 5+ years in Payments, Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services.
Experience leading cross-functional project execution.
Strong understanding of payments operations, banking infrastructure, and payment life cycles.
Demonstrated experience with incident management and operational troubleshooting.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Drive the successful execution of strategic payment initiatives from planning through production, ensuring operational readiness and cross-functional alignment.
Coordinate execution across Product, Network, Treasury, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure timely delivery.
Manage project dependencies, track milestones, and identify risks to project timelines.
Provide regular, concise status updates to stakeholders, highlighting potential blockers and proposed solutions.
Contribute to operational readiness plans for new markets, products, and payment capabilities.
