Job summary

Quantum-Systems GmbH, München, is seeking a Senior Payload Integration Engineer to own the payload integration across UGV platforms. You’ll manage electrical, electronic, and mechanical integration for diverse payloads, ensuring scalable interfaces and end-to-end E/E system coherence.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, collaboration with suppliers, and proficiency with CAN and automotive Ethernet.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on payload integration experience.
• Experience defining and owning multi-domain integration architecture.
• Ability to work with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
• Familiarity with interface control documents and test workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the electrical, electronic and mechanical integration concept across UGV payloads.
• Integrate payloads into vehicle power, network, compute, and control architectures.
• Plan and execute bring-up, commissioning and validation on prototypes and demonstrators.
• Collaborate cross-functionally and document interfaces, tests, and lessons learned.
