Job summary

Quantum-Systems GmbH seeks a Senior Chief Engineer Autonomous Trucking to own the technical program, drive system integration from base vehicle to autonomy software, and align with customers and regulators for safe, scalable delivery.

You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with OEMs, and represent the technical voice to leadership while maintaining an executable delivery plan. Fluent English required; travel to sites may be needed.

Qualifications

Engineering degree in a relevant field (Electrical/Mechanical/CS/Robotics).
10+ years in autonomous driving or field robotics.
Experience delivering complex systems in regulated environments; defense background a plus.
Strong program management: roadmaps, critical path, risk, multi-team delivery.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end Technical Program for autonomous trucking, focusing on integration and delivery readiness.
Define and maintain the integrated technical roadmap from development through deployment, validation, and certification.
Identify bottlenecks and risks early; propose solutions and trade-offs across product, engineering, and operations.
Lead system integration to industrialisation and production; align interfaces and validate cross-domain workstreams.
