Apex Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mission Integration Engineer specializing in Payload Integration & Test to join our expanding team in Los Angeles.

The role focuses on turning our spacecraft platform into the backbone of customer missions, owning planning and execution of payload integration and SV level test campaigns. You will lead cross‑functional engagements, plan environmental tests, and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to ensure system integration

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status is required for export‑controlled data.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience with complex hardware systems, preferably spacecraft.
• Experience in satellite manufacturing or related aerospace/defense/high-tech industries.
• Strong space systems integration and test knowledge.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and tight timelines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to adapt to shifting demands.
• High attention to detail for concise technical reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning of I&T campaigns and execute on the cleanroom floor.
• Lead customer engagements to develop bus‑to‑payload integration procedures.
• Plan and execute SV‑level environmental testing (random vibration, TVAC, etc.).
• Plan and execute SV level functional testing to demonstrate integrated vehicle functionality.
• Lead space vehicle propulsion load operations for dynamic testing and launch.
• Review CLA and thermal analysis for test planning.
• Travel to launch sites for integration, checkouts, and rehearsals.
• Develop and maintain customer system‑level documentation (specs, ICDs, SDDs).
• Support requirements analysis, verification, and validation activities.
• Identify and assess technical risks; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate technical concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Participate in customer meetings, design reviews, and status updates.
