Apex, headquartered in Playa Vista, CA, seeks a Mission Integration Engineer specializing in Payload Integration & Test to turn our satellite bus platform into customer missions. You will own planning and execution of payload integration campaigns and SV-level testing, working directly with customers to develop integration procedures and ensure successful campaigns.

The role requires a US person, a bachelors in a relevant engineering field, and 3+ years in complex hardware or spacecraft

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status due to export-controlled data.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3+ years working on complex hardware systems, preferably spacecraft.
• Experience in satellite manufacturing or aerospace industries.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute payload integration campaigns and tests in cleanroom.
• Collaborate with customers to develop bus-to-payload procedures.
• Lead SV level environmental and functional testing plans.
• Support propulsion load operations for dynamic testing.
• Review CLA and thermal analyses for test planning.
• Travel to launch sites for integration and checks.
• Develop system-level documentation and interface control documents.
• Identify risks and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
• Participate in customer meetings and design reviews.
