Job summary

Apex Technology, Inc. seeks a Mission Integration Engineer (Payload Integration & Test) to turn our spacecraft platform into customer mission backbones. You will own planning and execution of payload integration and SV level tests, working closely with customers and cross-functional teams.

The role requires coordinating space vehicle I&T, environmental and functional testing, and travel to launch sites while producing clear system documentation and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• U.S. Person status required for export-controlled data.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in aerospace, mechanical, electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with complex hardware systems (spacecraft preferred).
• Experience in satellite manufacturing or related industries (aerospace/defense).
• Strong understanding of space systems integration and test.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute space vehicle I&T campaigns and drive on the cleanroom floor.
• Collaborate with customers to develop bus-to-payload integration procedures.
• Plan and execute SV level environmental and functional testing.
• Support propulsion load operations for dynamic testing and launch.
• Review CLA and thermal analysis for test planning inputs.
• Travel to launch sites for integration, checkouts, and rehearsals.
• Develop and maintain customer system-level documentation.
• Assist requirements analysis, verification, and validation activities.
