Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 3 to provide advanced administrative support in a physician’s office, clinic, or related area. This senior role handles complex tasks and escalations, and assists the supervisor in training staff.

Primary location is the Lakeway clinic with travel to Marble Falls clinic as needed to support operations and staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in hiring and peer interviewing.
• Handle patient relations, check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification and phone calls.
• Mentor and train staff; provide training on applications and access.
• Monitor training participation; arrange facility maintenance and supplies.
• Back up supervisor; manage schedules and follow up on work results.
• Participate in process improvements; attend huddles and track metrics.
