Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation is seeking a Patient Service Representative for a float/coverage role across East side locations. You will greet patients, verify insurance, schedule multi-discipline evaluations, and assist with billing and patient financial services.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent business classes/experience.
• 12–18 months' healthcare scheduling or patient financial duties.
• High-accuracy data entry.
• Excellent telephone and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to perform in a high-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Greet and assist patients and visitors at check-in/out.
• Collect and register demographics, insurance, and clinical data.
• Schedule initial evaluations and follow-up appointments across disciplines.
• Coordinate calls with insurance/care managers for multi-discipline care.
• Process payments and provide cash receipts while explaining billing options.
• Provide training and EMR support for the PSR team.
• Ensure compliance and contribute to quality improvement.
