Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation seeks a Patient Service Representative for float/coverage duties. Greet and assist patients, pre-register and register, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate multi-discipline scheduling. Travel may be required; remote work possible on occasions.

Requires an Associates degree/experience, 12-18 months healthcare scheduling, and strong customer service skills. Benefits include PTO, tuition reimbursement, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent business classes/experience.
• 12-18 months' healthcare scheduling and/or patient financial related duties.
• High accuracy data entry and strong telephone skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests at check-in/out and provide information.
• Pre-register and register patients, collecting demographic and insurance data.
• Schedule initial evaluations and follow-up appointments across disciplines.
• Coordinate care with insurance/care managers and collect payments as applicable.
• Provide training support to PSR team and assist with compliance education.
