Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Patient Coordinator on the Upper East Side to support clinical practice operations. Under supervision, you will coordinate patient care, manage front desk tasks, and assist with revenue cycle activities.

You will register patients, verify insurance, schedule appointments, educate patients about the patient portal, and help maintain accurate charting while supporting a smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Approximately 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Experience with patient registration and scheduling.
• Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding.

Responsibilities

• Register and schedule patient appointments using the practice management system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays.
• Coordinate front-end revenue cycle activities and patient check-in.
• Educate patients about the patient portal and services.
• Assist in training new staff and improving front desk processes.
• Maintain patient charts and prepare agendas.
