Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months' experience as Patient Access Representative I or CSA I for internal applicants.
• 6 months' external experience in entry-level registration in an EPIC environment.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register/register patients for scheduled/unscheduled services and inpatient/outpatient procedures.
• Interview patients or representatives to obtain demographics and insurance information.
• Obtain IDs and insurance cards; document information in the registration system.
• Ensure patients are informed of visit status and collect payments as appropriate.
