Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare front desk/registration preferred.
• Proficient in EPIC or similar electronic medical records.

Responsibilities

• Pre-register and register patients for services, inpatient and outpatient.
• Interview patients to obtain demographic and insurance information.
• Obtain IDs and insurance cards; document in the registration system.
• Explain and obtain consent forms; support Advance Directive process when applicable.
• Deliver excellent customer service following AIDET; maintain patient privacy.
• Coordinate with scheduling, financial counseling, and physicians’ offices.
