UTHealth Houston's Internal Medicine department seeks a full-time Senior Patient Access Representative in the Texas Medical Center. The role leads front desk operations, mentors staff, schedules patient appointments, verifies insurance eligibility, handles referrals and authorizations, and posts payments.

• Ability to multi-task.
• Proficient typing/keyboard skills.
• Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum experience: Four years of hospital/medical business office experience.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules patient appointments and enters information in the system accurately.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and processes referrals/authorizations.
• Posts payments and generates receipts; monitors account issues and performs analyses.
• Leads department as a team leader, mentors staff, and supports training.
• Communicates professionally with physicians, staff, insurers, and patients; ensures documentation is complete.
