Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Three years of experience in a healthcare environment, including registration, scheduling, insurance verification, or business office.
• Proficiency in English communication and ability to interact with patients, staff, physicians, and insurance providers.

Responsibilities

• Perform multiple patient access functions daily: scheduling, insurance verification, and registration.
• Serve as liaison between patients, staff, physicians, insurance providers, and others to resolve questions and issues.
• Enter accurate scheduling, insurance, and registration data into systems to initiate financial clearance.
• Assist with transcribing orders or verifying referrals as needed.
• Maintain high level of accuracy and confidentiality in handling patient information.
