UTHealth Houston in Houston, TX is seeking a Full-Time Bilingual (English/Spanish) Senior Patient Access Representative to lead and mentor staff while supporting daily patient access operations, including scheduling appointments, verifying eligibility, ensuring medical necessity compliance, and posting payments.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in English and Spanish; able to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Previous experience in patient access or medical office settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor staff in daily patient access operations.
Schedule patient appointments and verify demographic, insurance, and financial information.
Ensure medical necessity/compliance and post payments in the system.
Collect patient liabilities and discuss payment options with patients.
