Job summary

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 3 years related healthcare or customer service experience.
• Bilingual abilities strongly preferred.
• Basic computer skills and strong communication required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or representatives to collect registration data and verify accuracy.
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain precertifications/authorizations as applicable.
• Collect co-payments and explain estimated costs and financial assistance options.
• Schedule and pre-register patient visits and coordinate transportation as needed.
• Provide guidance to other access associates and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Handle inbound calls and assist patients with information and support.
