You will oversee teams, optimize systems, and partner with clinical and business leaders to advance access, accuracy, and overall patient satisfaction. This role emphasizes data-driven improvement and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business or related field.
• 7+ years in physician practice with scheduling and registration expertise.
• Experience with hospital patient registration and insurance verification.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and related metrics.
• Progressive staff management experience, including training and development.
• Experience with patient registration applications and technology solutions that support scheduling, registration, insurance verification, telecommunications, and digital patient access

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight for scheduling applications and related tech initiatives.
• Monitor trends, evaluate processes, and develop metrics for performance.
• Lead training and knowledge management to establish standards and metrics.
• Foster collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, and leaders.
• Oversee patient registration and insurance verification operations and tech solutions.
• Oversee the telecommunications structure to support patient access.
• Lead implementation and optimization of registration applications and data quality.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and ongoing training.
• Stay current on regulations affecting scheduling and registration.
• Coordinate non-reporting access functions to ensure policy compliance.
• Manage direct reports and promote confidentiality and accountability.
• Lead and mentor staff for skill and career development.
• Provide recommendations on promotions, transfers, and terminations.
