Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock is seeking a Cook III to support the Sous Chef, preparing grilled, fried, broiled and pantry items, ensuring plates meet recipe specs and are visually appealing.

You will lead kitchen stations, supervise coworkers, help with ordering, par levels, and assist at events; maintain cleanliness and safety.

Requires HS diploma or equivalent, culinary apprenticeship or assoc degree, and at least 5 years in the industry; strong leadership and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or Associate’s Degree in culinary arts preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in the same industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares foods per recipe guidelines or pantry items; ensures plates are aesthetically appealing and cooked to specs.
• Recognizes sauces, baking techniques, doughs and desserts; executes daily menus.
• Maintains a clean workstation and leads other stations.
• Assists and directs coworkers to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
• May assist with special events or parties and station setup/teardown.
• Ensures proper storage of foods, equipment and ingredients; reports safety hazards.
