Job summary

Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood is seeking a pastry professional to assist in dessert preparation under the Pastry Chef. You will maintain a clean bake shop, uphold health standards, and support the daily production of cakes, cookies, and desserts in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, a culinary arts degree is preferred, and at least two years of experience or an equivalent mix of education and work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary Arts degree preferred.
• Two (2) years of experience required or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of cakes, cookies, pies, puddings or desserts according to recipes.
• Maintain Bake Shop in a clean and sanitary manner in accordance with health department codes.
• Ensure a safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Ensure service is fast, accurate and consistent with quality standards.
• Conduct on-the-job training sessions with staff and supervise daily prep for the section.
• Communicate with chefs to order proper quantities for the following shifts.
