Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a senior leader for its Partnership Tax team in Dallas. You will advise clients on all aspects of partnership tax planning, compliance, and M&A related activities, developing staff and managing high-value engagements. A CPA/EA/attorney or equivalent is required, with 8+ years in corporate federal tax and partnership taxation.

The role supports cross-functional teams and offers a hybrid work model with strong growth potential and client service leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business-related field.
• Active CPA license in the state of residence or EA license or Attorney license or pre-approved alternative certification.
• At least 8 years of corporate federal tax compliance and tax consulting experience (planning, research, general M&A).
• Public accounting experience with at least 8 years focusing on partnership taxation.
• Experience with S-Corps or Partnerships/LLCs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on partnership tax services including planning, research, compliance, allocations, and transactions.
• Assist with new business development and tax issue recognition for existing clients.
• Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members.
• Lead and manage client engagements with high-value tax advice and cross-sell opportunities.
• Keep up to date on tax law changes and industry practices.
• Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns.
