Job summary

RSM in Dallas is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to advise clients on partnership tax strategies, planning, research, compliance, allocations, and M&A activity. You will lead staff, manage complex engagements, and grow client relationships while staying current on tax law.

The role supports a hybrid work model with collaboration across cross-functional teams and a focus on delivering high-value tax advice to clients and the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business-related field
• Active CPA license in the state of residence or EA/license or attorney license or pre-approved alternative certification
• 8+ years of corporate federal tax compliance and tax consulting experience in planning, research and M&A
• Public accounting experience with 8+ years focusing on partnership taxation
• Experience with S-Corps or Partnerships/LLCs
• Strong communication skills and MS Excel/Word proficiency

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on partnership tax services including planning, research, compliance, allocations, and transactional activities
• Assist with new business development and tax issue recognition for existing clients
• Develop, motivate, and train staff level team members
• Lead and manage complex engagements with high-value tax advice and client relationships
• Review research findings for consistency with firm policies and standards
• Provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns
• Coordinate tax services across lines of business for excellent client service
