Job summary

Databricks seeks a Partner Engineer to lead the technical relationship with strategic AI partnerships, including Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Gemini. You will own the joint roadmap with their product teams, drive integrations, and hands-on labs that become new products and architectures customers deploy.

You will collaborate with partners to build POCs, demos, and reference architectures, and work with our founders and executives across Product, Engineering, Strategic Partnerships and GTM teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in field engineering, consulting or AI systems development.
• Hands-on engineering with Python, REST APIs and SDKs.
• Ability to build POCs, demos and integrations with partner teams.
• Strong ability to translate partner needs into platform requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical contact across AI labs and partners.
• Shape joint product roadmap by translating partner needs into Databricks requirements.
• Align joint offerings across Databricks, partners and customers.
• Design and build integrations connecting both platforms and validate capabilities.
• Build POCs and reference architectures for engineering handoffs.
• Collaborate with strategic customers to align AI architecture with roadmaps.
