Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Partner Engineer to lead the technical relationship with strategic AI partnerships, including Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Gemini. You will own the joint roadmap with their product teams, drive the development of integrations that connect and extend both platforms, and get hands-on with new product features and tooling.

You will collaborate with partners to build POCs, demos and labs, and shape architectures our customers deploy.

Qualifications

10+ years in field engineering, consulting, platform architecture, or AI systems development.
Hands-on engineering with Python and REST APIs; able to develop POCs, demos and debug integrations.
Deep knowledge of AI systems in production, including model serving, retrieval, and agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary technical point of contact across AI labs and senior stakeholders.
Shape joint product roadmap by translating partner needs into Databricks requirements.
Design and build integrations to connect platforms; validate new capabilities hands-on.
Build POCs and reference architectures for productization or customer deployment.
Align customer AI architecture with Databricks and partner roadmaps.
Develop technical enablement content for internal and external teams.
Collaborate with executives to drive joint innovation and go-to-market success.
