Job summary

Palmer Staffing is seeking two Senior Paralegals to join a dynamic team to support the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Washington, DC. This role will work directly with trial attorneys, investigators, and other staff at the Affimative Litigation Section of the Enforcement and Affimative Litigation Branch.

This in-office long-term contract (40 hours weekly) requires a Paralegal Certificate, or JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study, plus three years

Qualifications

• Requires Paralegal Certificate or JD or ABA-accredited law school attendance.
• At least three years of litigation paralegal experience; trial experience preferred.
• Familiar with federal/state court systems and legal research tools (LEXIS/Westlaw).

Responsibilities

• Conduct factual and legal research using court and other resources.
• Prepare and file legal documents following court rules and Bluebook standards.
• Draft pleadings, briefs, and other litigation documents; support trial teams.
• Organize evidence, manage discovery, and coordinate document production.
