Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our team supporting a new DOJ project in Minneapolis, MN. The role requires full-time onsite work and involves complex litigation support activities under supervision, including legal research and discovery management.

The position calls for paralegal certification or JD, strong experience in litigation, and familiarity with eDiscovery tools such as Relativity. You will collaborate with DOJ staff, prepare witnesses and exhibits, and ensure compliance

Qualifications

Paralegal certificate/JD or ABA-accredited law school attendance required.
Two years of litigation paralegal experience or project experience are required.
At least one year of automated litigation support experience is required.
Experience handling financial crimes/non-compliance cases is required.
Solid knowledge of federal and state court systems and legal research procedures required.
Excellent written and oral communication; proficiency with Lexis and Westlaw.
Proficiency with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging and hardware systems.
Familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures.
Ability to perform under pressure with high quality work.

Responsibilities

Performs detailed indexing of case files and develops litigation support procedures; screens for privilege documents and conducts database searches.
Composes, drafts, and edits legal documents concisely and clearly.
Proofreads and edits written documents for accuracy and consistency.
Reviews audio files for relevance and updates databases with findings.
Prepares witnesses, exhibits, and other evidence binders.
Receives and tracks discovery items; communicates with DOJ components as required.
Compiles, summarizes materials for attorneys in discovery and in motions, briefs, and other documents.
Summarizes depositions and transcripts; conducts simple legal research; tracks discovery materials.
