Amentum is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join our team supporting a new DOJ project in Washington, DC. The role is full-time and onsite, reporting to a Supervisory Paralegal or Project Manager.

Responsibilities include detailed litigation support tasks, file indexing, document review, and preparation of witnesses and exhibits. Requires paralegal certification or JD and experience in federal litigation and eDiscovery tools.

Formación

• Requires paralegal certificate or JD or current ABA‑accredited law school student (1+ year) or equivalent
• At least two years of litigation paralegal or project experience; trial experience helpful
• Experience handling financial crimes/non‑compliance cases
• Sound knowledge of federal and state court systems and legal research
• Excellent written and oral communication; familiarity with Lexis and Westlaw
• Proficiency with word processing, databases, spreadsheets, imaging, and hardware
• Familiarity with ESI tools and eDiscovery procedures
• Ability to deliver high‑quality work under pressure; MRPT credentials/authorization eligibility required

Responsabilidades

• Index case files, draft litigation procedures, manage document acquisition, and screen privilege materials
• Draft concise written documents and proofread professionally
• Review audio for relevance and update databases
• Prepare witnesses, exhibits and evidence binders
• Manage discovery items and track documents during investigations
• Coordinate with DOJ components and trial staff as needed
• Summarize depositions and manage case files for motions and briefs
• Perform basic legal research and manage electronic discovery with Relativity/Oncue
