Job summary

KAHANA & FELD LLP in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Paralegal to support our General Liability litigation team. Under attorney supervision, you will organize complex documents, manage case workflows, and assist in discovery, pleadings, and hearing preparation.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of paralegal experience in California, strong research skills, and proficiency with PACER, CM/ECF, and MS Office. Office-based with hybrid option after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years paralegal experience, preferably in California personal injury.
• Familiarity with online databases and resources.
• Proficiency with PACER and CM/ECF systems.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize, prepare, and interpret complex legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Direct workflow on cases with attorneys and paralegal teams; manage case files.
• Assist with discovery, pleadings, and status reports; prepare for hearings and depositions.
• Conduct eDiscovery tasks, document reviews, and production coordination.
• Attend client meetings and court/trial-related activities as needed.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and billing for all billable work.
