KAHANA & FELD LLP seeks a seasoned paralegal to support its General Liability litigation team in California. Under attorney supervision, you will organize and interpret complex legal documents, coordinate case workflow, and assist with discovery, pleadings, and status reports.

You will conduct eDiscovery tasks, manage case files, and liaise with clients, courts, and vendors. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in California personal injury.
• Familiarity with online databases and resources.
• Knowledge of PACER and the federal Judiciary’s CM/ECF system.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with professionalism in client and colleague interactions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Knowledge of third-party e-filing providers (One Legal, First Legal, Odyssey File & Serve, Green Filing) is a plus.

• Coordinate, organize, prepare, and interpret complex legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Direct workflow on various cases with attorneys and paralegal staff.
• Review and maintain documents and case files; prepare filings with courts and agencies.
• Conduct electronic document reviews and eDiscovery tasks with attorneys.
• Assist with drafting discovery, pleadings, and status reports.
• Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and depositions as needed.
• Review summaries of discovery responses and document productions.
• Attend client meetings and case-related meetings.
• Bill for all billable work and meet annual hours requirement.
• Liaise with court staff, calendar clerks, and outside vendors.
