Job summary

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Affiliates seeks a Senior Paralegal to support complex litigation across offices in Boston, New York, or Washington, D.C., with a hybrid schedule. The role requires extensive paralegal experience, strong research skills, and mastery of federal/state rules, e‑filing, Relativity, and Everchron.

The position emphasizes mentorship, advanced document management, and collaboration with partners and practice teams to manage deadlines and large matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of six years of paralegal experience required.
• Experience with government investigations, including SEC/DOJ.
• Strong knowledge of e-filing in federal and state courts.
• Proficiency with Relativity and Everchron.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with preparation and filing of pleadings.
• Guide through discovery, including review and depositions.
• Prepare for interviews, depositions, hearings, trials, client meetings.
• Review motions and court papers; prepare exhibits.
• Coordinate with staff for deadlines and filings.
• Maintain client files and case management systems.
• Provide mentorship to junior paralegals.
