Job summary

CAC I International Inc. seeks a Senior Paralegal to support the Department of Justice missions with litigation-focused duties, including high-profile case prep and eDiscovery workflows.

The role emphasizes researching, drafting, and coordinating exhibits and materials under minimal supervision. The candidate should have paralegal certification or JD (or in progress), with experience in automated litigation support and proficiency in Relativity, Lexis/Westlaw, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Requires paralegal certificate, or JD, or currently attending ABA-accredited law school with at least one year of study, or equivalent; plus at least two years of litigation paralegal experience.
• At least one year of automated litigation support experience.
• Good knowledge of federal and state court procedures and legal research resources.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; proficiency with legal research tools such as Lexis and Westlaw.
• Hands-on familiarity with apps like Relativity, Excel, JEFS/Box.com, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and social media tools.
• Experience with eDiscovery tools and procedures; ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure.
• Advanced Excel skills; professional, customer-service oriented; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support litigation teams with diverse, complex tasks under supervision or with minimal guidance.
• Conduct legal research and summarize transcripts for attorney use.
• Prepare drafts of memoranda, correspondence, and trial materials.
• Organize case materials, manage document databases, and assist with exhibits for trial.
• Coordinate litigation support services and maintain accuracy under pressure.
