Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP is seeking a Senior Paralegal for our Los Angeles or Palo Alto offices (hybrid). The role supports advanced litigation tasks, guides junior staff, and coordinates complex filings across multiple jurisdictions.

The position requires federal/state court experience, e-filing proficiency, and strong research skills. Competitive compensation reflects the firm’s leadership in complex transnational matters and strong client service culture.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Federal and State Court rules and procedures (civil and criminal).
• Experience on government investigations (SEC/DOJ).
• Ability to file complex court papers electronically.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and filing of Federal and State court pleadings and papers.
• Assist with discovery including document review, production and depositions.
• Provide guidance to junior paralegals and other staff.
• Manage deadlines and complex filings within firm protocols.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis and other sources.
