Ideal candidates have advanced negotiation skills, deep contract knowledge, and familiarity with HIPAA/FERPA, with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage complex legal matters and priorities.
• Experience with contract review, negotiation and risk assessment.
• Familiarity with healthcare and higher education agreements is a plus.
• Proficient in regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and FERPA.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and edit complex agreements with minimal attorney oversight.
• Administer the contract lifecycle management process and documentation.
• Advise on contract structures, approvals and compliance for events and transactions.
• Lead AI-enabled tools for drafting, review and governance of agreements.
• Provide support for litigation, risk management and governance matters as needed.
